The work of Citizens Advice North Northants would be impossible without our volunteers. With over 40 volunteers, and a wide range of opportunities, there are many ways to become involved. You could train to be an adviser, help streamline our office administration systems, become a member of the Trustee Board, or assist with fundraising, publicity or our Research & Campaigns work.
All our volunteer advisers are fully trained and supported
You do not need any particular qualifications or experience, but we are particularly looking for people with the following skills and attributes:
Be a good listener and open minded
Able to work with clients to achieve results
Read and understand complex information and relate it to clients
Have a good level of literacy and numeracy skills
Enjoy being part of a team
Can commit yourself to a certain number of regular hours (although we are flexible)
