This course offers small group and 1:1 sessions to help individuals develop practical maths skills that can be applied to everyday life.
This includes sessions designed to provide the tools to increase your income, take control of debts, understand utility bills, and manage household budgeting.
There are four sessions of 2 - 3 hours each, but you are able to pick any or all that you would find of value.
This course is suitable for learners who are age 19+ and do not yet hold a level 2 qualification in maths.

This project aims to deliver employment support for economically inactive people through intensive one-to-one support.
We aim to move people closer towards employment by addressing individual needs, supplemented by additional life and basic skills support where needed.
This project will be delivered in a bespoke person-centred programme; ensuring that participants receive a tailored package that reflects their individual hopes, ambitions, and needs.

Launched by HomeStart Corby, this project aims to link services together to provide support for families and children in the Corby area.
Based in the Pen Green Children’s Centre in Corby, we provide face-to-face assessment appointments and generalist advice with specialist knowledge of debt information. From here we offer access to our full range of advice services.
Our adviser also delivers training to Home Start volunteers and service users on benefits and money matters to help them recognise poor practices and identify when our services may be required.
